Lentil Soup

In a crockpot, combine:
2 c lentils
2 t salt
8 c water
sausage or beef, browned
1 clove garlic
1 onion, diced
1 T parsley
2 c diced tomatoes
2 c tomato juice
1 c carrots, sliced
1 c celery, sliced
salt and pepper to taste

Cook on low 8 hours.
